The popular social media platform Tiktok removed the hashtag from its search engine after being caught by members of the cartel to highlight it to highlight their crimes and recruit people.

“We think their next step will be that they will continue to do what they do, unless Tictok there are serious reforms and how they operate in the United States,” Garza said.
“Carkeltok is not the only channel outside that promoted it and talked about all these cartel activities. There are numerous pages we were aware of, anything, from children to children to smuggling people and only those who promote some other illegal activities that work on the border,” he continued.
Garza added that another problem is that there are Copycats who want to imitate what these cartels are posting.

The move comes after Trump signed the executive order on the first day at the office to direct the State Department and other executive agencies to move to marking of cartels and other criminal groups as FTOS.
