The defensive back traded in Houston Texans In exchange for offensive midfielder Kenyon Green, according to several reports. The trade package will also send a draft draft from the fifth round of 2026 to the ruling Super Bowl Champion Eagles. Apart from Gardner-Johnson, Houston will gain a future sixth round.

The 2024 season was marked by Gardner-Johnson’s second stay with the Eagles after he initially played with Philadelphia 2022. He left after that season and spent the 2023 campaign with Detroit Lions.
Gardner-Johnson joined the Eagles last year and signed a three-year contract with the team.

Last year, he was a key part of the Orlov defense, and he ended up with six intercepts. Gardner-Johnson also recorded six intercepts with the Eagles two seasons ago.
Despite the likelihood that he will wear another uniform next season, Gardner-Johnson suggested that Eagles and the City of Philadelphia would continue to hold a special place in his heart.
“I love you Philly, we are forever champions,” he wrote on xformerly known as Twitter.
Gardner-Johnson’s connection to Eagles Fanbase was sometimes tense. Shortly after completing his first stay with a team, he characterized at least some of the residents of Philadelphia as “disgusting”.
“My least favorite thing … are people”, Gardner-Johnson said During the Twitch Live Stream 2023. “They are f —- g disgusting, if —— g i can’t handle f —— s.” He added that he enjoyed city weather.

Florida restaurant owned Gardner-Johnson’s motherDel Johnson, at the time, were targeted by some fans who were offended by a message shown in NFL’s clothing. Kings Grill in Rockkledge, Florida, received the noise of negative Yelp reviews.
Fans of singer Taylor Swift, who are often called “Swifties”, seemed to be responsible for at least the initial course of bad Google reviews and negative Yelp reviews for Kings Grill. Adverse reviews were later removed and Yelp set up a “unusual activity warning” on the restaurant page, which “temporarily disabled the publication of content”.

While the Eagles managed to keep the line striker Zack Baun, Josh Sweat and Milton Williams reportedly agreed that they would deal with other NFL teams this week. In the meantime, Darius Slay and James Bradberry were released.
Philadelphia seems to have addressed her spare role, trading Kenny Pickett at Cleveland Browns in exchange for a pick from the fifth round and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
