The Sudanese army says that it has withdrawn the Republican Palace of Khartoum, the headquarters of the land of the land

The Sudanese army took over the Republican Palace on Friday in the cartoonThe last strongly guarded bastion of rival paramilitary forces in the capital, after almost two years of fighting.
The subtraction of the Republican Palace, surrounded by government ministries, was the main symbolic victory of the Suda’s army against the power of paramilitary fast support – although that probably does not mean the end of the war because the RSF holds the territory in the Western region of Sudan and elsewhere.

Videos on Social Media showed Sudan soldiers inside the palace, giving the date as the 21st day of day RamadanThe month of the Holy Muslim, which fits Friday. Sudan’s military officer who wore captain’s Epaulettes announced an announcement in the video and confirmed that the troops were on the junction.
The palace seemed to be in the ruins, and the soldiers stepped into broken tiles. The troops carried by the assault rifles and the grenade germs on the rocket sang: “God is the greatest!”

Palace falls symbolic and strategic moment
The fall of the Republican Palace-Still along the Nile River, which was the headquarters of the Government before the war broke out and was laid on Sudanese banknotes and postage stamps-means another winning of a battlefield for the Sudanese army, which in recent months has achieved constant progress under the main military Abdel-Fattah Burhan.
This also means that RSF rival fighters, under General Mohammed Hamdan Dagal, are mostly expelled from the capital, Khartoum. A sporadic shot could be heard on Friday in the capital, although it was not clear if it had included a fight or was celebrated.
Brig. General Nabil Abdullah, spokesman Sudanese armyHe said his troops hold the palace, around the Ministry and Arab markets south of the complex.
The Khartoum International Airport, only about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) southeast of the Palace, has held the RSF since the beginning of the war in April 2023.
Suleiman Sandala, a politician associated with the RSF, admitted that the army had taken the palace and called it part of the “ups of” history “of history.
The RSF later issued a statement claiming that his forces were “still present near the area, fighting bravely.” An attack of drones on the palace believed to be launched by RSF killed troops and journalists on Sudanese state television.
Late on Thursday, RSF claimed that it took control of the Sudanese city of Al-Malih, a strategic desert city in northern Darfur near the borders with Chad and Libya. The Sudanese army acknowledged the struggle around al-Malihe, but did not say she lost the city.
Al-Malih is about 200 kilometers (125 miles) north of El Fasher, which remains a Sudanese army despite close strikes surrounded by RSF.
The head of the UN Children’s Agency said the conflict of Sudan created the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. On Friday, UNICEF refused to help the food aid in a food that was supposed to go to malnutrition at Al Bashir Hospital on the Khartoum periphery.
“Commercial supplies and humanitarian aid have been blocked for more than three months because of the constant conflict along the key routes,” UNICEF warned. “The result is a serious lack of food, medicine and other basic things, with thousands of civilians trapped in active struggles.”
The war killed more than 28,000 people, forced millions to run into their homes and leave some families to eat grass in a desperate attempt to survive while hunger moves parts of the country. Other estimates suggest far more fatalities.
The Republican Palace became the headquarters of power during the British colonization of Sudan. He also saw some of the first flags of an independent Sudan erected in 1956. The complex was also the main office of President Sudan and other best officials.
The Sudanese army has long been targeting the palace and its foundations, shelling and cracking to a date.
