The South Korean Court resets the Prime Minister Han Duck-Soo’s Imperatin, returning him as an acting president’s duties
South Korea’s Constitutional Court on Monday canceled Prime Minister’s Imperment Han Duck-SoooRe -establishing a civil servant number 2 as a leader of the leader, and has not yet judged the separate indentation of President Yoon Suk Yela.
Many observers said the verdict on Monday does not signal much about the upcoming judgment on Yoon because Han was not a key figure in Yon -sing martial law imposing. But that could still extinguish Yoon’s constant supporters and increase their political offensive to opposition.
Han became the acting president after Yoon, a conservative, abolished the Liberal National Assembly under the control of opposition due to his imposing a martial arts law on December 3, which launched a mass political crisis. But Han interfered with the Assembly at the end of December after a political altercation with opposition laws.
The unprecedented, consecutive imperfects that suspended the first two officials in the country increased their domestic division and deepened their concerns about diplomatic and economic activities in the country. The Deputy Government and the Minister of Finance, Choi Sang-Mok, has since performed the duty of the acting president.
On Monday, seven of the eight judges overturned or rejected Han’s impecil. They ruled that the charges against him were not against the law or were not serious enough to remove him from duty or his drawing proposal did not even fulfill the required quorum when he thoroughly passed the Assembly. One justice was supported by Han -ov Imperial.
The rejection of the HAN would be required to support at least six court courts.

After returning, Han told reporters that he would focus on the “most urgent questions”, including the rapid change of the global trade environment, in the apparent reference to the aggressive trade policy of Trump administration. He also called for national unity, saying, “There is no left or right – what is important is the progress of our nation.”
The court has yet to decide on Yoon’s empire. If the Court supports Yoon’s imperative, South Korea must hold an election for the new president. If he judges him, Yoon will be returned to his duty and regain his presidential powers.
Yoon was distracted about two weeks earlier than Han. Observers had previously predicted that the Constitutional Court would judge the case of Yoon in mid -March, but did not.
Yoon was arrested separately and charged with rebellion regarding his decree of martial arts. If he is convicted of this charges, he would face a death penalty or a life punishment. On March 8, Yoon was released from prison after allowing him to serve a criminal trial without being detained by the District Court in Seoul.
Massive rival rallies supporting yon or denial of yoon have shared the streets of Seoul and other large cities in South Korea. Earlier studies have shown that most of the South Koreans are critical of Yoon, made by law, but those who support or sympathize with Yoon have later gained strength.
In the center of the quarrels around Yoon, so he sent hundreds of trunk and police officers to the assembly after declaring war law. Yoon says he wants to keep the order, but that the high military and police officers said there they said that Yoon ordered them to withdraw the legislators to prevent voting on the floor to cancel his decree. A lot of legislators eventually managed to enter the constituent hall and voted unanimously.
Han, a career diplomat that Yoon appointed, tried to persuade diplomatic partners and stabilize markets when he was an acting president. The main trigger for the opposition’s thrust for his Imperatin was Han’s refusal to fill three vacancies on the nine -member bench of the Constitutional Court.
The return of the full membership of the court was sensitive because the judgment supporting the Yoon -IM imperrament requires support of at least six judges.
Han’s successor, Choi Sang-Mok, appointed two new judges, but left the ninth place empty.
Both Han and Choi stated that it took a two -sided consent to add a court to court, but their critics suspected that they were involved in fun Yoon Power Party, which wanted to increase Yoon’s chances of returning to power. On Friday, the main liberal opposition Democratic Party and other small opposition parties submitted a proposal for Choi.
