The New Zealand Play for Pakistan announced, Tom Latham Captain
New Zealand has appointed a 13-member team for the upcoming GOD series with three match against Pakistan at home. Veteran Wickeket-Batter Tom Latham leads side, which includes eight players from the Champions Trophy team, while several members are absent not present because of its IPL obligations.
Captain Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravandra, Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips are currently playing in the IPL 2025. Matt Henry is recovering from injury, and Kyle Jamieson rested for working load management. Kane Williamson star also decided for a series for personal reasons.

Wellington Kripket Muhammad Abbas and Nick Kelly received their maiden international calls for the Gosk team. Kelly was in extraordinary form in a domestic crime. The 31-year-old cricket runs a ranking ladder to Plunket Shield with 749 runs, including four centuries.
Abbas, who represented New Zealand and against Australia A, had an impressive Ford Trophy campaign. He scored 340 running on average 42.50, and in February in February he hit his maiden list (104) against Central Stags. Abbas was born in Pakistan and moved to New Zealand with his family from one age.
Will O’Rourke lead an attack of the tempo of new Zealand in the absence of older bowlers
Will O’Rourke lead a pace attack in the absence of older bowlers Matt Henry and Kyle Jamieson. Jacob Duffy, Nathan Smith and Ben Sears are included in the fast bowling department. O’Rourke has recently returned for the last two T20I against Pakistan after a short vacation management break.
Adi Ashok’s Spinner received his second call after bringing his international debut against Bangladesh in December 2023 in December 2023. Michael Bracewell, Captain of New Zealand in the current T20I series against Pakistan, will play a key role as a festive at Blackcaps Squad.

Kiwiw Selector Sam Wells said this series would be an ideal opportunity to test young players, and the next Odi World Cup is still more than two years away. Wells pointed out that young players are now ready for international opportunities.
“With a group of regular GODIO PLAYERS, we have a selected group of high potential players that are now ready for international options,” said Wells Sam.
“Since the next ICC Odo event is Pinnacle for another two and a half years, the series is the perfect opportunity to introduce or re-introduce in the ADI case, these players to the international cricket now.”
“Nick has been a high -end domestic bat in the last few seasons.
