“The most deadly violence in more than a decade”: Hundreds of Alawita who killed security forces

On Thursday, the violent conflicts between Syrian security and loyalist-worn longtime President Bashar Al-Assad, which marked a major escalation in the challenge of a new government in Damascus, three months after the rebels took control after dramatic removal of Assad from power. More than 700 people were killed, which in more than decades made this most deadly acts of violence in the country, according to the British Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (Sohr), a war control group.
