Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost became the first successful commercial landing into the moon.
The newly released shots recorded by the spacecraft show the moment of touching the Cabil Crisium, a picture in the northeastern moon’s quadrant on March 2.
The mission is part of the latest cooperation between US space agency NASA and private companies.
The first commercial spacecraft to land on the moon was Odysseus of intuitive machines, which started the journey in February 2024, but overturned to touch her work.
