The ex-husband of singer EN Vogue offers her a job after finding out that he is homeless
Dawn Robinson’s ex-husband, Andre “Dre” Allen, gives a hand to help with the former En Vogue Singer After discovering that she lives from a car for three years.
During the interview with Tmz hip hop This was published on Thursday, Allen, 49, who was married to Robinson, 58, from 2003 to 2010, shared that she was offering her a job in the catering industry.
Allen, who is also a singer-songwriter and former member of the 1990s Pop and R&B Group IV Xample, is currently working full time in the hospitality industry, and told TMZ to believe that Robinson would be a “perfect” addition to the Hilton Brands Sales Department.

Allen started his music career in 1992 when he founded IV Xample with his colleagues Robert “Bobby C” Chevis, his brother Raymond “Runni Rae” Chevis and Bryant “Lucious” Woodert. The debut album of the group “For example”, which presented their hit single “I would rather be alone,” sold over 500,000 copies.
After the group split in 1998, Allen released two solo albums and wrote songs for numerous recording artists. TMZ said that he helped to facilitate Robinson’s return to EN Vogue when she reunited with a group in 2008 before she started again in 2011.

While talking to TMZ Hip Hop, Allen told Outlet that he had left behind the music industry, which he said he had saved his “life and finances.” He explained that he had discovered greater financial success by working in catering than he was able to achieve his age in music.
Allen claimed that he had borrowed money “dozens of notable friends of the music industry” and said that he knew others who died of poverty, which motivated him to try to help Robinson after learning of her current circumstances.

In the video posted on YouTube Robinson, who found mega success on Tuesday with members of the band En Vogue Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Maxine Jones in the 1990s, opened around his life in his 2022 car.
She explained why she decided to continue the “life of a car” and expressed her hope that her vulnerability could help encourage others who are in difficult situations.
“People are like,” You should not talk about it because You are a famous person, And what if they judge you? ‘So what? What if they judge me? Life is life. . . . Part of the man is vulnerable, “she said.
“You guys, for the last three years, have been living in my car,” she added. “I said that, Oh my God, it’s out there.”
Robinson said her goal was to “inspire” others and give people to know that they were “capable of anything, no matter what the chances against you”.

As she explained that she had reached the place where she was, Robinson said she lived with her parents in Las Vegas about five years ago. After arguing with her mom, the singer made the decision to leave and eventually slept in her car for about a month.

The then manager invited her to move to Los Angeles, saying Robinson to help her find a place to stay. However, after eight months of life at the hotel, Robinson interrupted the ties when she realized that he was “playing games”.
“Sometimes I think people want to capture you and keep you in a situation where you are vulnerable,” she said. “So, I got out of there.”
After that, Robinson packed his car and drove to Maliba, California, to start his “car life”.

“I’m not regretting at all,” she said. “The first night was scary.”

Robinson quickly learned stings and outputs from the life of a car, such as “cover windows” and avoid talking to “certain people.”
“I felt freely,” she said. “It was so different. I felt like I was camping. He just felt like it was right to do.”
“I teach who I am as a person, as a woman,” she continued. “We say we can’t do certain things before we even know we’re capable … I’m glad I made this choice because I should have gone through this fire.”

“I would not trade my experiences and what I went through for the world,” she added. “I miss my family. I miss everyone I was connected with. But I should have done it myself … but I should have done it for me. It’s not easy for me.”
Robinson said she was “really proud” of how much she left and urged her followers to face their fears.

“I challenge you to do things that are scary,” she said. “People will call you crazy, and it’s okay. You feel a sense of freedom and you push yourself.”

En Vogue, which was founded in 1989, earned six Grammy nominations. Robinson left in March 1997, but reunited with the group in 2005 and 2008.
