“And I think we were able to portray it in a way that is unique to sports shows and be able to highlight things like faith and my father be a lot of it.”
Jeremiah, who is currently chaplain of the team of Crimson Tide, has played a big role in inspiration for the themes of the show. His relationship with Caleb was a motivating factor for the production of the series.
“So you sit here looking at Caleb, you know, with the production of it,” he said. “And all the moments to pour yourself into him as a father, to see how he manifests himself and see the job you did is huge.”
More specifically, Faith was a recurrent topic in a row, showing interactions between players, coaches and community Crimson Tide. “I’m sitting here just thinking about a tide that really is bound, it’s faith,” Jeremiah said.

Both Caleb and Jeremiah expressed the importance and role of men in today’s society and how they learned these values through football and family. Caleb commented that his father had led the family and said that he could not imagine it any other way.
“I wouldn’t sit here today talking to you about anything if it wasn’t for my father,” Caleb added. “I saw him relentlessly leading our family – and it started with faith. It’s a really simple connection for our play.”
