“I prayed my father-‘tat, can you, please, let me go to the center after care … I’m not going well here. I come without any, I lose my feeling who I am.”

While Mellencamp was eventually discharged to a hotel with a full -time medical sister, health care workers then found that they had discovered more tumors in their heads and lungs.

“Update from my scanning today: I have more tumors in my brain that could not be removed by surgery,” she posted on Instagram. “I also have 2 tumors in my lungs. These are all metastases of my melanoma.”
Mellencamp added that doctors “hope that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them”.
