National Bangladesh Crusade Pacer Taskin Ahmed provided an update about its availability for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 .. revealed that Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) contacted him and wanted to know if he would get night for the league.

A lot of reports have been circulating on the internet that Lucknow Super Giants added Shardul Thakur to the team instead of Mohsin Khan. Although the official confirmation has just arrived, Pacer has been training with the team for the last few weeks.

Taskin Ahmed revealed that Lucknow Super Giants contacted him since he was a replacement. He said that if the franchise invited him, he hoped he would get a night. In an interview with journalists, he explained:
“The contact was established because … no Bangladesh player was selected at the Mega auction. Many players were brought in large tournaments as replacements. Lucknow contacted me about it. They asked me if I was available because they considered me a replacement if necessary.
“They checked if I would get a night if they were called as a replacement. If I receive a call from anyone, I hope to get a night this time.”
If I call, there should be no problem with NOC – Taskin Ahmed
Taskin Ahmed added that he had talked to the BCB and if he calls him Lucknow Super Giants, there will be no problem with NOC. Explained:
“If I need it, that’s the first. If I need someone, and I’m fine, then I’m taking a night request. I talked to the Committee. If I get a call, there should be no problem with NOC based on the discussions we had.
“First, I have to receive a call. If I am elected, I hope to get a night. Based on my discussions with the Committee, there should be no problem with NOC this year.”
Lucknow Super Giants currently have the services Rajvardhan Hanggekar and Shamar Joseph, among other Pacers in the LSG team. They will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at the Krixket Stadium Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Aca-Vdca, Visakhapatnam.
