Syrian al-Sharaa is signed by a temporary Constitution | Syrian war news

Syrian temporary President Ahmed al-Sharaa has signed a temporary constitution that will be in force for a five-year transitional period, three months after his forces led Munje’s offensive that overthrew the Bashar Al-Assad government.

Al-Sharaa He said that he hoped that the Constitutional Declaration would mark the beginning of “new history for Syria, where we replace the oppression of justice”, while on Thursday signed a document.

The temporary constitution maintains some aspects of its predecessor, including the provision that the head of the state must be a Muslim and establishing Islamic Law as a major source of court practice, said Abdulhamid Al-Awak, a member of the Direct Committee.

Reporting from Damascus, the resource of Al Jazeera Serdar said that the issue of introducing the rules for religious affiliation of the leader was a “disputed question”.

“There were a lot of questions whether it would be one of the articles or not, but now it is clear that the head of the state must be a Muslim,” he said.

The document also includes provisions that have attracted freedom of expression and the “social, political and economic rights of women,” Al-Awak said, adding that he would serve to “balance between social security and freedom” during the Syrian shaken political situation.

A large part of his focus will be at transitional justice, with the aim of chasing crimes committed in the previous Al-Assad government.

According to the temporary constitution, the executive would also be limited to the president, Al-Awak said, pointing to the need for “fast action to face any difficulty.”

The National Assembly, a third of whom will be appointed president, would have a task for all legislation “until the elections are held,” Serdar said. “That may last, according to the President, up to four to five years.”

“This assembly of people will have authority … the release of the president himself. So, theoretically, this is possible, but it will be practically extremely difficult because [many of] Members … will be directly appointed by the president himself. “

A new committee for the development of a permanent constitution was established, but it is not clear whether it will be included in the political, religious and ethnic groups in Syria.

Al-Sharaa on Monday reached the orient pact with Syrian democratic forces under the leadership of Kurdska (SDF) in northeast Syria, including the truce and connection of their armed forces with the Central Government security agencies.

However, the SDF administration supported the US criticized the constitutional declaration, saying that it was contrary to the “reality of Syria and its diversity.”

The drawing, it is said, lacked “the spirit of the Syrian people and its different components from Kurds to Arabs, as well as Syrian, Assyrians and other Syrian national components.”

Last week, government forces and Allied groups broke into rebellion They started by the loyal al-Assad striker.

Rights groups say that hundreds of civilians are-headed from Alawit’s minority sect, to which Al-Assad belongs to the retaliable attacks of fractions in the counterferance.

Syrian temporary rulers are still trying to perform their authority in most of the country since the al-Sharaa Group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS, led an attack that overturned Al-Assad in December.

Critics say that the National Al-Sharaje Dialogue Conference last month calling for a temporary constitution and maintenance of temporary parliamentary elections did not include various Syrian ethnic and sectic groups or civil society.

Two Syrian security sources told the Reuters newspaper agency that the meta is a Palestinian person.

“This is definitely the depiction of the force, and the Israelites just want to be sure that the new leadership in the country is aware that Israel is overseen, watching them,” Serdar said.

“This is a psychological game of Israel,” he said. “Israel is definitely now doing that the job of a new administration is extremely difficult while the country is trying to preserve the state apparatus … and is trying to recover from the Civil War.”
