Sylvester Turner, in Texas, who replaced Sheila Jackson Lee, dies in 70

Ambassador Sylvester Turner, D-Texas, died on Tuesday night at the age of 70, Fox News found out.

Turner, who was previously the Mayor of Houston in Texas, was chosen to replace Late Shiela Jackson Lee who died in July last year.

Turner served for 27 years in the Texas House of Representatives, and was elected Mayor of Houston in 2015 and again in 2019.

Turner was on Capitol Hill as early as Tuesday afternoon in front of the president Donald Trump Address to a joint session of the Congress.

The representative was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, 2022.

The leader of the house of Hakeem Jeffies, Dn.y., honored Turner on Wednesday.

“As a representative of the 18th Congress District of Texas, Sylvester followed in dedicated footsteps like Velika Barbara Jordan and our late sister, Congress Sheila Jackson Lee. We all stand at the work of these amazing giants and training of Texans into being the main course.

The Turner’s Office has yet to publish a statement of the death of Congressmen.
