If Cambosos is a winner in his match against Daud Yordan on March 22, Hitchins would like to fight him this summer in New York. The fight could direct a potential large card sometime in June. Cambosos is a man who defeated Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 ko), and in a state of winning him would show that he deserves the unification of the match against Teo.
Hitchins would like to face Teofimo later in the year, waiting for future events, successfully beating Cambosos in the summer, and Teofimo won against Arnold Barboz Jr. May 2, a potential super fight could be on the horizon. “I think if thefimo wins, Richardson Hitchins and Teofimo fights Turki Alalshikh wants. It’s a big fight. We hope we can combine. I’m going to do my job. We hope he will be able to do my job and we unite,” Hitchins said when asked about potential match.
Now that he is a champion, Hitchins is asked to overcome at the top of a 140 -pound division and finally at the top of the sport. He is looking for the biggest possible fights and wants to fight the biggest names in sports. Asked about his future plans, Hitchins said, “Maybe it’s another fight for unification, or maybe a quarrel at 147, Ryan Garcia – – Devin Haney, it really doesn’t matter.” Hitchins intends to unite at 140 and know that the jump to 147 is inevitable. Dealing with the appointed opponents would earn him superstar and victory against them, placed him among the elite in sports.
Super lightweight division is one of the more exciting divisions in sports, because in the last year there have been numerous changes in the title and multiple compensation. Sutriel Matias, Rolly Romero, Isaac Cruz, Liam Paro and Jose Valenzuela have all suffered losses in the championship last year, and all are top candidates who want to regain the fame of the championship. Hitchins wants to combine the division, and a potential match with any current champion would be great for sports.
