Richard Wigglesworth: The Assistant Coach of England was to join British and Irish lions for the Australian tour | News of rugby
The English senior assistant coach Richard Wigglesworth should be appointed among the British and Irish coaching staff of the Lion for this summer of Australia Tour.
Lions chief coach Andy Farrell, the basic coaching team will be announced on Wednesday with Wigglesworth, who is likely to join Simon Easterby, who led Ireland in six countries while Farrell was preparing to travel Lions.
The confirmed roles have already been assigned to the Irish coach for the strength and fitness of Aled Walters and former director of performance David Nucifora.
Former England Scrum-Pol Wigglesworth has taken over from the current head of the national team Steve Borthwick as head of Leicester 2022.
He then connected to the coaching staff of Borthwick’s England next summer and became an older assistant coach in October 2024.
Farrell will discover their Lions team 8. May in front of over 2,000 fans in the London O2 Arena On the eve of the match against Argentina in Dublin on June 20th.
Tests against Australia are held in Brisbane on July 19, Melbourne 26 July 26 and Sydney August 2, and the tour also included five warning matches before the series opener and a match in the middle of the week before the second test.
