Chris KluweFormer NFL Puater, who recently inserted the national center of attention after being arrested at a meeting of the California City Council, expressed his support to the legislators who blocked the protection of women and girls in the sports law to move forward in Senate.
Republican legislators failed to get 60 votes required to break the filibuster.
No Senate Democrat voted for the bill. Two Republicans and two Democrats were not present from voting.

Kluwe, who has played for Minnesota Vikings all his career, has responded in a post on Bluesky.
“I support and I’m happy that the party has gathered to stop it,” Kluwe wrote. “However, they should do it on everything. I said that before and I will continue to say it – we are in an existential crisis as a country. Either we will appear as Americans or as something else.”

The protection of women and girls in sports should require Title IX Treating the gender as “recognized solely on the reproductive biology and genetics of the person at birth” and would prevent any adjustment to apply to gender identity.
The proposal of the law was introduced by Senator Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala, and has more than 40 sponsors in Senate. This would also codify one of Trump’s many recent executive orders, providing politics with better longevity.

President Donald Trump Last month, he issued an executive order to ban biological men to compete in women’s and maiden sports. The command would refuse federal financing of countries that continue to allow transgender persons in women and girls in sports.
