Three masked men ‘opened the fire indiscriminately’ in the pub in the Canadian city, the authorities say.
Toronto police say they are looking for three men suspected of participating in a shooting that was wounded at least 12 people in a pub in a Canadian city.
Masked armed people opened fire at Piper Arms Pub on Friday in the opening evening, towards the authorities. The attack was the last incident in many years of violence in weapons violence in North American country, which prompted legislators to freeze the sale of a firearm in recent years.
“They entered the bar. They produced their weapons and they were indisientiously opened fire on the people sitting in the bar,” police supervisor Paul Macintyre said on Saturday on Saturday.

The shooting motive remained unclear, police said.

A police official told reporters that he saw a video of the shooting control, which showed that people who were trying to cover or fall on the floor after hitting him.
“This is a reckless act of violence that shook our community and the city,” he said, adding that the police would leave “no stone to find the suspects.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said on the social media platform X that she was “deeply upset” when she heard about the shooting in the pub, adding that the police chief assured that she was “all of the necessary resources allocated.”
