Former Pakistan Fast Bowler Junaid Khan aroused a fresh controversy by directly crossing his finger at India, questioning the honesty of ICC champion Trophy 2025. Junaid Khan scored the schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with a jaw crack statement.
Former Pakistani cricket has accused men in Blue to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 games for the affection of the global body. His explosive remarks added fuel in a current discussion of whether men in blue enjoyed an unjust advantage in the tournament.
Junaid Khan explodes ICC, accuses India of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 favorites
On the eve of the high role finals between men in Blue and Novi Zealand in Dubai on March 9, Junaid Khan emphasized an incredible contrast in travel distances among the teams in the liquid ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
He explained that teams, like New Zealand and South Africa, were forced to withstand exhausting trips, while men in the Blue remained comfortable in Dubai for all their matches.
Since New Zealand covered over 7000 kilometers and South Africa over 3000, Junaid asked serious questions about the biased schedule of a prestigious tournament over men’s Blue’s Zero Travel. He continued to slam the ICC for designing a schedule to favor men in blue.

He also said that some teams win in matches because of their skills, but some benefit from schedules while digging in the team led by Rohit Sharma to fire the discussions about whether the Trophy 2025 champion finalist received an unjust advantage of a strategic schedule.
Junaid Khan posted on his x handle in front of the CT 2025 finals: “The distance traveled between the matches in the 2025 champion trophy:
- New Zealand: 7.150 KM ✈️
- South Africa: 3.286 KM ✈️

Did men in blue get an unfair advantage in Dubai?
Significantly, ICC and Pakistan Crickket Board (PCB) were forced to host men in blue games in a neutral place after BCCI refused to send a team to Pakistan for a tournament for political issues and security reasons. So, Dubai was chosen as a place for his matches, while other teams traveled for several cities in Pakistan and some to UAE.
Well, South Africa faced the worst, forced to fly to Dubai and return to Pakistan within 12 hours, because there was no clarity on the semi -finalists until the final group of India against New Zealand. But in this chaos, the Indian Cricket team avoided the tiredness of travel and used most of the conditions in Dubai.
Even Indian Pacer Mohammed Shami admitted that they were awarded to playing all their matches in Dubai, because they know the conditions and behavior of the terrain. But Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Chief Coach Gautam Gambhir denied any advantage.
Gambhir and Rohit claimed that Dubai was not their home ground, and they remain unknown about games before the games. However, legends like Sunil Gavaskar also admitted that blue men benefit from playing all their matches in Dubai.
