Ontario says he is engaged in an extra charge of 25% on electricity exports in the US
Ontario, the most powerful Canadian province, adds 25% extra charge to all electricity exports sent to the United States as part of retaliation against the Tariff Trump administration on Canadian products.
A supplement of 25% will be in force on March 10, and will affect consumers and companies in Michigan, Minnesota and New York, the Province said on Monday on Monday statement. The new fee will add $ 400,000 daily for US homes and companies, it is added.
“Tariff Tariff Trump is a catastrophe of American economy. They make life more expensive for US families and companies,” Prime Minister Doug Ford said in a statement. “While the threat of the tariffs does not disappear, the Ontario will not retreat. We will stand strongly, use every tool in our tool and do whatever it takes to protect Ontario.”
25% of Mr. Trump’s imports on imports from Canada and Mexico came into force last week, although he said Thursday he would delay Fees for up to one month, until April 2.
