“How many more will you keep New Yorkers? How much more New York without charge?” he yelled. “Do you believe in the first amendment, Tom Homan?”

In the post on X, Mamdani said he had faced Homan, who visited Albany to “do Trump’s competition-interpreted mass deportation, commit an attack on New Yorker’s workers and justified the unjustifiably detention of a legal permanent resident and father, Mahmoud Khalil.”

Homan planned to stand with state Republican legislators fighting for the abolition of the State Law on Green Light, which is legally caused from Trump’s administration. The law, also known as the driver’s license law, allows illegal immigrants to get a driver’s license.

Mamdani said Homan smiled when he faced.

“Because there is no answer from taking a man from his pregnant wife who should deliver a newborn in a month,” he said, noting that Khalil had told the Columbia University to be afraid for his life.

“The cowardice that is exposed to our city and our country is unacceptable,” he added. “The New Yorkers look at us. They seek their leaders to courage and belief, and what they find instead is cooperation.”
