Netball Super League will be too close to invite this year, says Manchester Thunder trainer Karen Greig | Netball News

Netball Super League starts this Friday live on Sky Sports And while London Pulse can be viewed as a team to win, this season is too close to the call, Karen Greig said.

Greig, said Manchester Thunder’s main coach Sky Sports: “I think it’s really hard to say really.

“I think Pulse will definitely be worse, I also think they are watching Loughborough even though they have not made semi -finals on weekends [in the Netball Super Cup]It will always be worse with the quality they got throughout their group.

“It will be a good season and the fact that we don’t know exactly who will be in those four best – I don’t think you can call it – says our league well.”

Introducing a new Super Shot rule will also make a league unpredictable. The new regulation will allow teams to score two with two goals from a dedicated area within the outer edge of the shooting circle during the last five minutes each of the four quarters.

The football Saturday team was taken over by Netball Super Shot Challenge … and everyone fails the ball!

Greig explained: “Now with the format we actually play – we will play 45 minutes of normal Netball -A 15 minutes Super Shot Netball – it will be really hard to say which team will get up and be calculated.

“I don’t think you can discount London pulse with the quality they have pierced throughout their unit, but it will be interesting to see the teams actually apply a super shot, whether they go early and try to lead a little and put pressure on teams trying to make up for the results. It will be interesting to see.”

“For us, she was really rocky, fragmented preseason,” Greig said. “Losing three of our international athletes [to injury] Before the season started at all, it was crucial for us and there was a lot of trouble and a lot of uncertainty about how we actually deal with.

“But for us, we are so grateful that we have received this foundation of our path and some truly exciting young men who go through which they are able to step into their shoes.

“I hope it will be noisy as we go through and there will be a lot of learning as we go together at those early stages until we return some of our athletes.
