Manchester United players still support Ruben Amorim
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes believes that manager Ruben Amorim can repeat his past sports success at Old Trafford.
Amorim, who led Sporting to two league titles in his four -year term, moved to United in November.
However, his time at the club has caused so far, and the team secured only 11 wins in 26 games.
Thinking about Amorim’s mandate at his old club, Fernandes said: “I knew how to play a sporting, I knew the fans were excited and that the players were very pleased with him [Amorim] there.
“I think we all saw in the last game he had there [at Sporting] How many communities were with players and staff at the time.
“Me and my teammates and technical staff, including managers, want to re -create it. In order to re -create it, we obviously need trophies.”
After finishing the eight in the Premier League last season, United had a difficult start to the current campaign and was currently sitting in 14th place after drawing 1-1 with Arsenal.

Their attention is now turning to the Europa League, where they face Real Sociedad in the second part of their last 16-16, after drawing their first leg 1-1.
Despite the fighting teams, co-owner of Sir Jim Ratcliffe also expressed complete confidence in Amorim, stating that the 40-year-old would be at the “Long Time” club.
Fernandes, the United leading scorer this season with seven goals, Ramen is a significant responsibility as a captain. It also recognizes the influence of amorim in their native Portugal.
After Sunday’s match against Arsenal, Amorim praised the performance of the midfielder, stating that the united “You need more brunos, “after Fernandes scored a free kick in the first half and approached the late winner.
Despite their common Portuguese roots, Fernandes explained that his relationship with Amorim was professional, not personal.
“I wouldn’t say we’re quite close,” he said. “We’re not saying so much that I am honest. He is a manager who is very, very calm. Obviously, to be a captain, most of the things he wants to pass on to the team comes to me, but many other times do not come from him, but from his staff.
“Obviously we have a good relationship, but I wouldn’t say it’s different from any other player. I knew the things he does in Sporting, but it’s not someone I personally knew.”
