Liv Golf, a professional male golf tour supported by Saudi Arabia, wants to play more like Formula One races with fans with a well -striking and wide spectrum of auxiliary entertainment.

“Golf is what we are, but it’s actually a festival around a golf that makes us different,” said Liv Golf Scott O’Neil CEO during Chat Fireside at Converge Live. “You can bring your family, you can bring a meeting, you can bring friends,” he added.

At a recent event in Miami, Liv held a music festival, art festival and food festival to ensure that there is something for everyone, he said. The inaugural event of the company in Singapore, which begins on Friday, will present DJ.

O’Neil said F1 was the only truly global sports league, and compared a walk by riding before a event began with a catering experience around the F1 pit.

Liv, who organized his first competition in 2022, competed with the long -established PGA Tour as the main organizer of a professional golf course.

According to O’Neil, 30% of the participants in LIV tournaments have never been on a golf course before, and the average age is 15 years younger than competitive events. “So, in terms of reaching a new audience, the introduction of more people in the game, I think we are a pretty interesting study, okay.”
