The famous English football club says that the new place will be the central place in the Old Trafford regeneration.
Manchester United plans to build a new two billion pound stadium ($ 2.59 billion) in 100,000 seats that will be the largest in Britain, in addition to the existing Old Trafford, the club announced.
“Today, it marks the beginning of an incredibly exciting journey to the delivery of what will be the biggest football stadium in the world, at the center of the regenerated Old Trafford,” said United co -owner Jim Ratcliffe in a statement on Tuesday.
The British billionaire has been open to his wish for a new, top terrain since he has become the owner of the minorities last February, and the club has studied whether to rearrange the existing stadium, which has been the house of the house since 1910 or to build a new one.
The club presented architectural designs for a new stadium at the London event.
The stadium will be part of the wider Oldrford regeneration, and British Finance Minister Rachel Reeves recently gave the Government support for plans.
United says that the project could create as many as 92,000 new jobs and will lead to the construction of 17,000 homes, and will be worth an additional £ 7.3 billion ($ 9.44 billion) annually to the British economy.
Old Trafford has not had a higher renewal since 2006, and criticism at Stadium 74,140 seats, the largest club field in England, has increased in recent years, with problems with his roof and recent visions of rodents.
