British Jacob Fearnley thinks “surreal” playing along with the world’s best players who have gone through the US collegial system at Texas University.
The 23-year-old star born in Edinburgh was attended by the University of the United States, where he studied kinesiology-to produce the human movement.

He said, “I pretty much went home one Christmas and maybe one summer in my five years on TCU, so I was extremely pleasant here. It seems that everywhere I leave, there are some frogs.”
Farnley coach Juan Martin, who was his teammate at TCU, believes that all his experiences are monumental assistance in his development.
“We always talk about that match with Djokovic on Wimbledon, because it was such a big moment and you live so many experiences in one. Domestic audience, Wimbledon – his favorite tournament as a British player – the central terrain against Djokovic,” Martin said.
“[You have] Pressure only when I see my mom outside, seeing my father outside, friends flying from Spain, from the US, just to watch him play.

Draper: Fearnley can be right on top of the game
Jack Draper also talked about Fearnley’s game, saying he had the ability and talent to go the right to the top.
British number 1 said, “We played so many times when we were younger. We had a really good friendship and good rivalry. He is someone who can be exactly at the top of the game. His personality, a lovely guy and just an amazing player, so I think it’s really exciting to have another player who comes to the male side.”
