Israeli Parliament brings a law spreading political control over judicial appointments

On Thursday, Israeli Parliament approved the controversial judicial law on reforms that increases political control over the judicial appointments by voting of 67 in favor and one against. The opposition boycotted voting and several parties immediately filed an appeal against the law of the Supreme Court.
