The cabinet unanimously decided that Bet Bet, Ronen Bar, would be removed from his service on April 10, or before the second director is appointed, according to a statement published by the Prime Minister’s office shortly after midnight.
But in a great challenge to Mr. Netanyahu, Mr. Bar refused to attend a night meeting for his release. Instead, he sent a stinging letter addressed to the Government stating that the procedure was illegal and that the motives of the prime minister were “basically flawed”.
The attempt to release Mr. Bar is likely to be challenged in the Supreme Court of the Earth.
Conflict comes just a few days after Mr. Netanyahua announced his intention to shoot Mr. Barciting a lack of personal trust among them, encouraging Street protests in Jerusalem.

In his letter, Mr. Bar rejected the idea that any lack of personal confidence between himself and Mr. Netanyahu had influenced the agency’s work, and said that the Prime Minister did not present any concrete examples that would justify his dismissal or allow him to compete in an appropriate hearing.
Mr. Bar also suggested that the hectic attempt was to be eliminated intended to undermine “the serious cases that explores the stake at this point.” For months the gentleman at least angered Mr. Netanyahua exploring Officers at the Prime Minister’s Office Through the claims of missed documents and work for people associated with Qatar. Mr. Netanyahu denied any abuse.
The disagreement between Mr. Netanyahu and the Lord Bar goes to the core of a wider battle that is played around nature and the future of Israeli democracy and the rule of law. Critics of the ruling coalition of Mr. Netanyahu, the most important and religious conservative in Israel’s history, accuse her of working to reduce Power of independent state guards And remove checks and states of the authority of the Government, which has a narrow majority in parliament.
The plan for the release of Mr. Bar, for personal trust, has also caused public concern that future appointments can be based primarily on loyalty to the Prime Minister.
Thousands of protests on Wednesday in Jerusalem waiting for moves, and more protests occurred on Thursday. Until lunch, the long column academic started in a stormy time from the campus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem according to one of Mr. Netanyahu’s private residence, beating drums, singing, “Democracy!” and breaking with police officers after trying to break through the barricade.
Some prominent opposition figures joined the demonstrators. These protests stopped abruptly by attacking the Hamas on southern Israel, which lit a war on October 7, 2023, although a wide sense of national solidarity, which then prevailed now.

The investigation, called “Qatargate” in local newspaper media, continues in secret under the main order.
Mr. Netanyahu denied injustice and his office rejected the episode as “fake news”. The Qatar government did not respond to the commentary requests.
Mr. Bar, who led a bet of Shin since 2021, said in a earlier public statement that the expectation of “personal trust” was contrary to the public interest.
Mr. Bar and Shin Beth took responsibility for their part in the failure of intelligence, which led to the Hamas attack, which resulted in the most deadly individual day for the Israelites since the founding of their country in 1948.
But in a summary of the internal investigation of the agency in his behavior published earlier this month, Shin Bet also pointed to the years of Blessed Government policy towards Hamas and Gazi as the main factor that contributes, which was probably angry with Mr. Netanyahu.
Appearing to be reinforced in the country, as well as in Gazi, unwavering support of the US administration, Mr. Netanyahu made a joint cause with President Trump in Tup post on social networks Late Wednesday.
“In America and in Israel, when a powerful right wing leader wins the election, the left -wing deep state arms with the judicial system to prevent the will of people,” he wrote. “It won’t win in any place! We’re standing strongly together.”

Many Israelis consider the democracy of the earth to be more fragile. Israel has no formal written constitution, only one legal council and the president whose role is mostly solemn and symbolic.
President Isaac Herzog has issued a a video statement On Thursday, in which he warned the unilateral actions he said he could harm the social cohesion and the resistance of Israel.
Mr. Herzog did not specifically mention the government or the ejection of Mr. Bar, but it was about new notifications of calls sent to thousands of spare soldiers, he said: “It is not possible to send our children to the front and at the same time make controversial moves that deeply polarize the nation.”
Making a vote on Thursday, Mr. Netanyahu also defied the legal opinion of the prosecutor Gali Baharav-Miara, who advised that the rejection of Mr. Lawyer must first approve the advisory committee supervised by high appointments.
Mrs. Baharav-Miara, appointed by the previous government, often clashed with the current one. The prominent members of Mr. Netanyahu’s cabinet said that after the removal of Mr. Bar, the next Attorney General would be.
