The fight against malnutrition, the leading cause of newborns mortality, is chronically insufficiently funded before the US has stopped financing humanitarian aid and development. As Paris hosts a diet for growth this week, we look at how a healthy diet is not only a developmental issue, but also economic. Each dollar invested in a diet creates a refund of $ 23, while malnutrition can cost up to ten billion dollars to the economy.
