Financing account mainly expands the levels of financing approved during the fiscal 2024 as part of a continuous resolution of the home by September 30.
However, some changes in financing are involved in the resolution, including an additional US $ 8 billion in defense spending, $ 6 billion in veterans health and almost $ 1 billion to support immigration and customs execution (ICE). The measure also reduces $ 13 billion in consumption without defense.
Ambassador Thomas Massie, R-Ky., Broke up with Republicans and voted against the measure on Tuesday night, while the envoy Jared Golden, D-Maine, also shared with his party and voted for the measure.
Meanwhile, Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky., He said he plans to vote against the Senate measure because he claims that it does not do enough to suppress state consumption. As a result, the bill will require support of at least eight Democrats to pass a threshold of 60 votes.

“It encourages all the Republicans to vote on this pure CR, which freezes funding at current levels and will prevent Democrats from getting a long-awaited exclusion of the Government,” Leavitt said on Tuesday. “The voting against this CR will harm the American people and kill the incredible momentum that President Trump has built in the last 51 days.”
