Frozen trees shot into Ontario ice storm


More than 350,000 Canadians faced electricity interruptions in southern Ontario, while the Ice Storm went through the region over the weekend.

The shots show ice trees, parks and homes in Orillia, a city that declared a state of emergency on Sunday.

City officials described the situation as “very serious.”
