Forest ‘Love’ Fa Cup says Nuno
Nottingham Forest Boss Nuno Espirito Santo says that FA Cup is a ‘competition we love’ after his side entered the last eight, with the victory of criminal shooting over Ipswich on the city ground.
Forest legend Brian Clough failed to win a famous trophy in his magic – losing the finals in 1991 from Tottenham – and that is 66 years since their last victory.
Ryan Yates’s head secured a 1-1 draw that forced the shooting, and goalkeeper Matz Sels was a hero when he saved Jack Taylor’s effort.
WITHLooking ITV, Nuno said: “The players did their job pretty well. We competed well.
“The first half was straight for both teams. I’m really happy that the guys were achieved by our fans are happy tonight.
“Now it’s a game game. We have Manchester City in the league and then we can focus on the FA Cup. It’s a competition we love and we’ll do our best.”

Goalkeeper Sels dived from the left to keep Taylor after nine flawless penalties and said his side is looking forward to even more progress.
He said, “I’m happy to help the team in the next round. That was the only punishment I was in the right corner. Before the game you study penalties and I took the wrong angle, but that was fine. I’m happy for the team.
“The game was not so good. In the end, the additional time is a gambling, you don’t want to gamble too much. In the penalties, one of the goalkeeper will be a hero. I’m happy and looking forward to the weekend.
“We know what to do. Fa cup is really beautiful. A few games and you can be in the finals.”
