“It was not a formal conversation we had led as a ball,” he said, through ESPN. “It is certainly a great honor to get a call to the White House. It allows us to celebrate our championship at the age of 2024. As far as I understand, every world series champion gets that honor, so it is a great honor for all of us.”
In 2019, Roberts proposed the Los Angeles Times that he would skip a visit to the White House after Trump criticized Roberts during the 2018 World Series.

“In accordance with the long-standing baseball tradition, President Trump invited the 2024 World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House when they play on April 7th at Washington DC,” the team said. “Dodgeri is looking forward to visiting the White House and celebrating the title.
“In addition, Dodgers members will visit Capitol Hill 8 April.”
The Dodgers season has already begun to move with Chicago Cubs abroad.
