Delta plane overturned the runway in Toronto and broke into the flames down at high speed, says the initial report

A warning system to aDelta Air Lines Jet that turned upside downAnd he broke into flames as he tried to land in Toronto last month, pointed to a high downhill descent rate less than three seconds before Touchdown, said a preliminary report on Thursday.
The Canadian Transport Committee, which issued a report, continues to exploreOn February 17, a collision in which 21 people were hospitalized.
All 76 passengers and four crew members survived whenDelta -coming planeHe broke into the flame from Minneapolis after he rolled over and slid to the asphalt.
The Canadian TSB report says that when the warning system of the aircraft sounded 2.6 seconds before it touched, the air speed was 136 knots, or approximately 250 km / h (155 mph). He says the aircraft gearing gear folded into a withdrawn position during a touchdown, and the wing separated from the hull, releasing a jet fuel cloud, which caught fire as the plane slid along the runway.
The perception rolled upside down and a large part of the tail collapsed in the process, according to the report.
“Accidents and incidents rarely stem from one cause,” said TSB Chairman Yoan Marier in a video on Thursday. “Often the result of more complex, interconnected factors, many extend outside the aircraft and its work with wider systemic problems.”
The crew and passengers began evacuating after the plane stopped, the report said, adding that some passengers were injured when they had unbuttoned their security belts and fell on the ceiling.
TSB says he is not aware of any problems with security belts or seats during the incident.
The door at the pilot cabin was closed, forcing pilots to escape through the urgent opening on the pilot cab ceiling after everyone else was out, the report said.
Emergency staff then entered the hull, and shortly thereafter there was an explosion outside the plane near the root of the left wing, TSB says. The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
So far, the investigation has not found existing flight control problems, although some components have been damaged in the collision, the Committee said.
Security Committee says that his investigation focuses on several key areas, including a metallurgical test of wing structure, landing technique, pilot training and passenger evacuation process.
All those who were hospitalized were released within a few days from the collision.
At least two lawsuits have been filed in the United States, and a law firm in Canada has announced that it has been retained by several passengers.
Delta refused to comment on a preliminary report.
“We are still fully engaged as participants in the investigation conducted by the Canadian Transport Safety Committee. Out of respect for the integrity of this paper, which will continue through their final report, Endeavour Air and Delta will refrain from comment,” the airline said.
