Authorities in Novi Mexico launched an investigation of death Gene Hackman And his wife, classic pianist Betsy Arakawa, after officials found a married couple at their Santa Fe home almost a week ago.
Although the bodies of Hackman and Arakawa were found under what detectives call “suspicious” circumstances, officials confirmed that no outdoor trauma was seen on Hackman or Arakawa either, and the case remains open to autopsy and toxicology results.
The detectives recovered two cell phones, a recipe orange bottle and a 2025 planner as they examined the residence, according to the inventory of the inventory of a search order inventory received by Fox News Digital.

“After receiving their cell phones, investigators can determine when they stopped moving, when they lost communication, which can say a time of disabling or death,” Daly said.
Daly noted that investigators were probably watching “when the Paysmejker signal stopped working” to get a better indicator of Hackman’s death date.

“They can geoil around the property to see what ping at the time, although they won’t be able to say who without a warrant, but I can tell what activity was before and after, even if they don’t doubt a bad game,” he said.

“Toxicology – there could be another kind of poisoning, maybe food? It will go through the trash, refrigerator … These are things that the police can collect evidence in the meantime. There are several options.”

Hackman and Arakawa tested Negatively on carbon monoxide, Santa Fe adan Mendoza’s Santa Sheriff confirmed at a press conference on Friday. Their residence was tested for a painless odorless gas, and was cleaned by Santa Fe fire departments after the authorities did not find evidence of leakage of carbon monoxide or poisoning.
Mendoza confirmed that the last recorded activity on Hackman’s landscape happened on February 17th. Authorities assumed that this Hackman’s last day was alive because the Oscar’s body was not discovered for another nine days.

“According to the pathologist, I think it is a very good assumption that it was his last day of his life,” Mendoza said during a press conference.

Hackman and Arakawa were found Jesse Kesler and Roland Lowe Begay workers. Kesler, who worked for 16 years as a personal contractor, called the furious 911 26 February.
“They will look at the surrounding community,” Dalya said of the community closed in which Hackman and Arakawa lived. “They could say if movement in and outside the property after they passed away. There could be some cameras around their house to look at it just to put it together.”
Peter Valentin, a certified analyst from the older crime site, questioned whether the interval after application – what the time or time of time between death and discovery – was the same for Hackman and his wife.

In the search order, received by Fox News Digital, officials found that Arakawa’s body had been found decaying on the face and mumification in the hands and legs. Hackman has also been revealed that Hackman has the same signs of decay as his wife.
“There was something about the way his wife was described in the bathroom, which I think is worth looking at a little more,” Valentin said. “And she was in the bathroom. I suppose there were a space heater, and some pills seemed to be, and I don’t know where, if that universe heater was involved. That could change the way her breakup looks.”

Valentin noted that “having a heat source near the remains really changes the breakup rate.”

“The mummification occurs when you have heat and low humidity, and so you will get exactly what you will get when the body breaks down next to the heat source, such as a heater or like a radiator,” he said.

“However, if the proposal to have fallen and had a kind of accident, there would be some kind of evidence of injury relative to that fall, injury to the washing machine. So, it would have a trauma of the head. It would have bleeding, brain bleeding.
Valentin said the authorities were probably “counted by the tablets” found near her body and checked when the recipe was filled to work back and find a dosage schedule to exclude possible theories.

“Thinking is that the tablets are consumed intentionally, and this is an overdose or something,” Valentin said. “If these are intentional works, the person does not really fall on the floor in the living space. They tend to lie down, sit down, you know, know what they are doing. They know what will happen and prepare for it.
“This is not what you see in both situations … The fact that the tablets are, if they fell, or if the tablet’s tank is open, does not necessarily mean that it has to do with anything. It could be open.”
He added, “So you want to entertain both versions of that scenario. They are connected, they are random, and in the end you will get information that will help you later. But for now, you are doing it in two ways.”
