Conor McGregor says he is running for President Ireland after visiting Trump


Perhaps President Donald Trump Motivated Conor McGregor to make a career change.

UFC fighter He wrote in a long Instagram post on Thursday, implying that he would run for the president of his home country of Ireland, for days after he visited Trump at the White House.

McGregor said that he opposed the proposal of the law regarding the EU migration Pact and urged people to vote for him.

“Ireland must fully implement the EU migration pact until June 12, 2026. So, between June and June 12, 2026, several laws must be adopted by both houses of Oireachtas and then signed by the president … Who will counteract the Government and confront this law? … I will!” McGregor wrote in his post.

“It’s a people of Irish choice! Always! It is a true democracy! .. This is the future of Ireland with me as the president. All the citizens of Ireland have the voice and choice of their future! God bless our people. Vote McGregor and hear your voice!”

McGregor criticized the Irish government in the White House in an attempt to raise awareness of “the issues facing the people of Ireland.”

“Our Government has long abandoned the voices of the people of Ireland, and it is high time for America to be aware of what is happening in Ireland. What is happening in Ireland is a travesty. Our Government is zero and zero responsibility,” he said this week.

In September, he teased the potential presidential driving in Ireland, calling himself a “only logical choice”.

McGregor’s visit comes a week after Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin met with Trump in an oval office.
