Clothing Missing American Student Found on Punta Cana Beach: Officers

The search for Missing University of Pittsburgh Sudixha Konanki led to a new development on the beach where she disappeared.
On Tuesday, two police sources told ABC News that Konanki’s clothes were found on a beach’s laptop near the area where she disappeared.
Konanki was last seen entering the beach early Thursday morning at Riu Republik’s resort in Punta Cana, according to five stars, according to LA Policia Nacional, the national police forces of the country.

Before the disappearance, Konanki was seen walking on a beach with six people that evening, three Dominican officials ABC News said.
Most people in the group returned to the hotel that evening, but one person stayed with Konanki on the beach in the early morning hours of March 6, ABC News reported, citing a report on investigating police.
Dominican police have announced that they are investigating one of the friends of Konanki and is looking for a substitute for claims from the “young man”, who was also in the water on his disappearance day.
The man allegedly said that he had entered the water with Konanki, but the rough surf became ill, and returned to the shore, leaving Konanki in the water.

In the second version of the story, he said he felt sick and left Konanki in the water deep knee before he came out to the beach. The man further claimed that he saw Konanki walking the beach before falling asleep on the beach, according to Noticias Sin reporting.

On Sunday night, Dominican officials told ABC News to believe that Konanki drowned.
As for the last time a man who was seen with Konanki, the sources said he was not considered suspected, ABC News reported. They added that the police had not found evidence of violence.
Asked if there is a reason for suspected Foul Play, a spokesman for Sheriff’s Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital: “We need to consider all the possibilities, and US law enforcement is studying everything.”

The spokesman for the Konanki Hotel was in a shared statement with Fox News Digital, stating that his team “provided complete support from the search authorities, and an emergency protocol was activated to ensure that all necessary measures be taken.”
Several agencies are now involved in an effort to search, including Civil Defense of the Dominican RepublicFirefighters, National Police, Dominican Navy and India Embassy in the Dominican Republic.
The Sheriff of the Loudon County Office has submitted a request for a yellow notification that will be published by Interpol – a police warning in the world for a missing person.

The Pittsburgh University Police Directorate also provided an update on Monday, saying that they were also working with the Loudon Sheriff Office in the end of the Konanki search.
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares said on Monday morning “Fox & Friends”, his office was “still in the information collection phase”.

“All her friends were counting, that’s good news,” he said. “Obviously, our heart agrees for family. We want to find her, we want to hope us find her safe and sound. It’s so much at the moment that we don’t know.”
Konanki is originally from India But the legal permanent resident of US County Loudoun, near Washington, DC, towards the authorities. It is 5 feet tall, 3 inches, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing brown bikini, groove earrings, bracelets and ankle.
