Chris Swecker, a lawyer and former Assistant Director of the FBI Criminal Investigation Division, told Fox News Digital that he thought Ibarra would be deported “very quickly”.
“If we can send it to El Salvador’s hellish hole in prison, where it will rot in misery, then I’m all for it.”
Ibarra, who is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted of trial on the bench in February, is fighting his belief in the Atens-Clarke district, where his public defender advocates for a new trial. The hearing on the matter is scheduled for June 6.

“The Ibarra case … That thing is radioactive,” Swecker said. “It will find a legal basis for deportation.”

As for the prison of El Salvador, the Center for Prison of Terrorism, which can have up to 40,000 prisoners, it is not clear if Ibarra could be sent there if he was eventually deported.

All three defendants will be delivered to ICE for deportation, according to the Ministry of Justice. Diego Ibarra will face the deportation after his four -year federal prison sentence.
It is unclear whether any of the accused will be sent to El Salvador, because only Diego had an apparent TDA connection, according to court documents.

I am 100% with President Trump in his struggle to protect our country and freed these violent criminals.”
