On his new Podcast, California Gov. Announced Gavin News On Tuesday, in mid -June, the Menendez brothers will have a hearing of the Committee on Conditional Release so that the governor’s office can determine whether they should approve of mercy.
While discussing the recent opposition of the Los Angeles district lawyer Nathan Hochman about the legal battle of the Menendez brothers for re -maintenance, Newsa announced that Lyle and Erik Menendez would go before the California Committee for Conditional Displays individually on June 13 and pray for grace from the governor.
The brothers are in prison for killing parents in 1989.
“Yes, now, a new yes, he pulls back from the Menndez brothers to register again,” he told News at his podcast “This is Gavin News.” “But this does not affect the processes that are ongoing, on this overview of grace in my office or an independent risk assessment that will conclude on June 13th for a conditionally release committee. He explained to News that after the hearing of the Conditional Freedom Committee, he would be filed in his office for consideration in deciding whether to go through the penalties of the brothers.
“Then a report will be submitted to me on June 13 for consideration,” he told News. “We will submit it to the referee for re -maintenance judge, and this will fit into our independent analysis of whether to move forward with a request for alms to support the switching of this case.”

The brothers were convicted of two first -degree murder points in their parents’ murder, José and Mary Louise “Kitty”, and were sentenced to a lifetime prison.

Their first trial, which stretched from 1993 to 1994, ended in the trial. They were re -proclaimed guilty in 1996.
