BT approaches AT&T, Orange for Foreign Partnership, Bloomberg News Reports

(Reuters) – British BT approached telecommunications at AT&T and Orange for possible partnerships to help reverse his international job, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, stating people familiar with these things.

“We maintain everything openly and that means that we have talked to the third parties about a series of possibilities,” said BT spokesman, without giving further details.

Allison Kirkby, who became Executive Director of Britain’s largest mobile and broadband operator a year ago, concentrated the company’s business department on the UK while exploring opportunities for her international operations.

The British telecommunications company said the partnership could include the sale of stakes in its global division, Bloomberg News reported.

Orange refused to comment, until AT&T immediately responded to Reuters’ comment request.

In its latest results, BT reported on the supplements of customers with fiber. However, his revenue for a quarter ended on December 31. He hit a draw in his international business unit.
