Nasa astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore broke in near the Tallahassee, Florida after nine months at the International Space Station.
They went down with Nasa’s astronaut Nick Hague and the Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov.
Williams and Wilmore were in space 286 days after technical problems on the Boeing spacecraft, which was supposed to bring them back to Earth.
Their original mission should last eight days.
