Arsenal face an anxiety check while a key defender suffers a knee injury
Riccardo Calafiori admitted that he did not know the severity of the knee injury he suffered during the Italian defeat of 2-1 in Germany in a quarter of the quarterfinals of the nation on Thursday.
The Arsenal defender thickened on the lawn after an unpleasant slip in the time of stopping and eventually flew to the field after treatment from medical staff. He was then noticed that he was leaving the stadium with a nasty fluttering.
Italian manager Luciano Spalletti asked about the state of Calafioria after the game, but could only provide a worrying update of the versatile defender.
“He said his knee feels strange, but he can’t answer exactly, so we’ll have to see,” he said at a press conference.
While Calafiori left the stadium, banging, but without the use of a crop, journalists asked him if he had suffered a serious injury.
“I still don’t know,” he said.
Heaven Italy The Calafiori Note will be sent to tests on Friday to determine the seriousness of his problem, which will almost certainly exclude him from the Italian return against Germany on Sunday.
Arsenal Leader Mikel Arththa will nervously wait for updates about Calafioria. Gunneri returns to the Premier League Action against Fulham on April 1 and, after another Everton League conflict, face Real Madrid in the first part Champions League Quarterfinals on April 8.
After fighting his knee injuries earlier this season, Calafiori started three of the last four Arsenal’s four Premier League games before the International Practice, but the Italian is now sweating because of what could be an extended magic on the side.
