Former Indian Batk Ammati Rayud has opened around whether Rajasthan Royals (RR) should make changes in all XI for his next IPL 2025 matches. Rayud said that Rajasthan Royals should consider the involvement of Hasarang’s Waninda instead of Jofre Archer, who had a disappointing trip in his last match.
Royals will face the champion of Kolkat Knight Riders (KKR) in his second match at Guwahati on March 26. RR will be deducted after a return of 44 runs from Sunrizes Hyderabad in their introductory match. Riyan Parag will continue to lead the team in the absence of regular captain Sanja Samson.

Jofra Archer bought Rajasthan Royals for ₹ 12.50 crowns on auction mega. He had a catastrophic excursion against Sunrizes Hyderabada (SRH). Ammata Rayud said that Rajasthan Royals might need to turn on to Hasarang’s Waninda in his toy XI. Rayud expressed doubt about Jofra Archer’s performance due to lack of confidence and repetitive bowling patterns. He said Archer did not change his line or length, nor did he try different angles.
“They would have to bring him (Waninda Hasarang) in Xi just because they need to have a lot of slow bowlers. Since we’ve seen Archer for a long time, everyone now hopes he’s going to do it well,” Amtiti Rayuda told Espncricinfo.
“But, you know, they are not sure if it would come well, because it is also a lack of confidence. And that is his repeating bowling, I feel the repetitive nature of his bowling. He does not try, you know, pass the fold or not trying, you know, buildings of different lengths.”

Rayud’s ambiti said Rajasthan Royals should focus on its strength, which is spin bowling. Rayud also emphasized that Jofra Archer must rest and work on his bowling, because he is not doing well enough right enough right now.
“So, I feel that they should go to his strengths, or slow bowling. So, where the coach is for us, if you bring Hasarang, which of these three foreign bowlers come out? I think Archer should, you know, really rest and work on his bowling, because he is not good at the moment.
