Ambassador Lauren Boebert suggested the renamed DC ‘district of America’

Ambassador Lauren Boebert, R-Colo, on Tuesday called the house legislators to stop “having fun” president Donald TrumpThe renaming of the American Bay, suggesting that Washington, DC, could face the same fate.
Boebert gave objections during a legislative hearing on American Bay Law on Support to Trump’s Executive Commands.
“I would warn my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to refrain from making fun of the American Bay, because the next UP may be the district of America on which we work,” she said during a hearing of water, fishing and wildlife.

“So, just, you know, keep jokes in the Gulf, and maybe for now we will just stick to the American Bay,” she added.

Trump has often criticized DC leaders for their inability to free themselves from the city of violent crime.
