After the debacle in Dubois, Paul Smith invites Anthony Joshua to throw out Davison and seek a new team, criticizing the ‘Roll The Dice’ strategy
Pundit Paul Smith says that the former double heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has to throw out coach Ben Davison and get a whole new team around him to help reverse his career.
Paul does not like the corner advice, Davison gave Joshua (28-4, 25 ko) in the fifth round of his fight against IBF champion Daniel Dubois on September 21 last year at the Wembley Stadium.
“Roll The Dice”
Davison stupidly said aj -in “Roll The Dice” and go to the interruption, instead of playing it for sure that he would tired Daniel. Joshua has already been discarded three times in the fight, he set off in the first, third and fourth rounds. It was crazy that Ben watched aj boom in a hurry with fresh Dubois in fifth place after what he had passed in four previous circles.
Joshua replaced Rob McCracken As his coach after the first defeat to Oleksandar Usyk in 2021, the defeat of the decision in 12 circles. This loss was small things compared to the massacre we saw last September Joshua is robbed Dubois, and left in a pile on the canvas.
It makes sense to let Davison be released after a much worse defeat, and her career hung on the thread. Joshua can’t afford another loss because of bad training tips.
“What I saw against Dubois was bad advice from the corner. Ben Davison is a good coach. Thanks. Boxing for conversationsTalking about the Council of Anthony Joshua’s corner in his fifth round of knockout defeat to IBF’s heavyweight champion in Daniel Dubois on September 21.
“Let me tell Joshui to go for it when Dubois was still very live. He told him to roll the cubes when they had fallen three times before.”
“It’s just a recovery. A little comes back to him,” Spencer Oliver said about Joshua.
“Just a bull *** through the fight in the next two or three rounds. Let Dubois get out because it fights on the nerves, Dubois. Then you have a more chance. I think you need to change your team and get a good coach around you,” Smith said.
