Former Aakash Chopra Indian cricket has discovered its best XI for Liquid ICC Champions Trophy 2025 based on prominent appearances in the tournament. The Crixet turned only three players from India, who have been undefeated so far and included six players from New Zealand.
The champion trophy will conclude with the last match between India and New Zealand. This conflict at the top will be played in Dubai on Sunday, March 9th. Rohit Sharma defeated Australia with four shots in the first semi -final, while Kiwi secured a 50 run over South Africa to reach the finals.
Ben Duckett team lost all three matches – Aakash Chopra
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra chose English Ben Duckett as the first opener at his best XI. Chopra admitted that England had lost all three of its matches and added that Duckett was guilty.
“The first player I chose was Ben Duckett. His team lost all three matches, but that was not his mistake. He scored 165 running (against Australia) and took the team at 350. Ben Duckett looked good in the second match, and politely hit before he went out into the third game. He played an advantage.

Chopra chose New Zealand, Rachin Ravandra, like the second opener. He noted that Ravidra had missed the beginning of the tournament, but influenced his return. He supported Virata Kohlija for place number 3, saying that he had no discussion of his selection.
“I kept Rachin Ravrdra next to him. He did not play at the start because he was injured. However, he achieved two centuries once he played. The century in the semifinals, I think it sealed the contract for Rachin Ravandra,” he concluded.
“Let’s not ask the issue 3 and go forward – Virat Kohli. He scored a century against Pakistan in Potjeri. He then scored 84 rides in the semifinals. He played at 83 because he did not score 300 running in Dubai,” Chopra remarked.
Aakash Chopra Snubs Kl Rahul, Axar Patel from Best XI of 2025 Champion Trophy
Aakash Chopra chose Tom Latham as a sequin. He said that KL Rahul was not considered due to a lack of running and various stroke positions. Latham scored 191 rides in four matches, including a century and fifty, on average 63. Chopra chose Glenn Phillips for place number 6 over Axar Patel.
To complete his best seven, Chopra included Azmatullah Omarzai. He praised Omarzai for his versatile performance. Omarzai scored 126 runs in three matches on average 42, and the strike rate of 104. The Afghan comprehensive also took seven hicket, including the victory of five winches against England.
In the same video, Chopra chose Mitchell Santner, Varun Chakaravarthy, Matt Henry and Mohammad Shami as four bowlers. Santner picked up seven Wickets in four games, with a 4,85 economy rate. Varun and Shami took five walks in an undefeated Indian run in the tournament.
