A match report and 4 conversations from Emphica winning

Arsenal has one foot in the quarterfinals of the Champions League after securing a highly 7-1 victory in PSV Eindhoven.
Jurrien Timber, Ethan Nwaneri and Mikel Merino were target in the first half, before Martin Odegaard hit twice in both sides of Leandro Trossard Chip and Riccardo Calafiori late on Chip to seal the dominant, charity victory in the last 16 first leg.
How the game took place
Arsenal started bright, seeing an early penalty that waved after Odegaarard was demolished in the box. Declan Rice had a ball in the back of the net for 12 minutes, but the Early Off Flag was confirmed by an incredibly tight VAR check.
PSV was supposed to open scorings shortly after Ismael Saibari hit a place from close range, and they were made to pay for their profile when Timber lowered the other end and headed for a wonderful rice cross.
It was 2-0 almost immediately after that. Low Cross Myles Lewis-Skelly found a colleague of Hale End Gem Nwaneri, who broke his effort on the roof of the PSV network to give Gunners a significant pillow.
For half an hour, Arsenal made three. PSV made a comedy of errors in defense and gifted possession of Merina, who simply needed to direct the ball into the back of the PSV net. Mammot is waiting for VAR check whether offside eventually approved a goal after almost four minutes.
PSV was offered a trip back to the game five minutes before the interval when Thomas Partyi clumsily dragged Luuka de Jong down to the box, and Noa Lang pulled a great stain perfectly outside David Ray. De Jong could even grab a second before the rest, but the high striker could not keep the header under the bar.
The second half began with a bang while Arsenal immediately renewed the three goals lead. The PSV plug Walter Benitez could only past the cross on the way of Odegaard, which could hardly miss out of close range. With 48 minutes on the clock, Arsenal made five because Trossard’s giant end ended in the back of the net.
Gabriel was frustrated that he did not make six from the typical Arsenal corner for an hour, as it was Trossard when an offsidal flag rejected another goal, but Odegaard did the job after a direct driving led to a shooting that was simply too powerful for the disappointed Benitez. Order a mass exodus from the stands.
Those who stayed inside the stadium still had time to suffer through the seventh goal of Arsenal, because Calafiori collected a wonderful ball from Odegaard and showed why he was declared as a possible attacker option while governing Benitez.

The view of nwaneri celebrated with Lewis-Skelly after the second goal was an emotional moment for Arsenal Fans. They found two superstars of the future.
Nwaneri became the second lowest Arsenal player in the Champions League stages, only 39 days older than Cesc Fabregas in 2005, while he was also a third English under the 18th year, who started a knockout game after Judah Bellingham and Phil Foden.
The Bukayo Saka injury was obviously a huge blow, but Nwaneri pushed directly into the center of attention, and the young striker did not look back. The challenge for Arteta will elaborate a way to play both of their Starbows later this season.
Arsenal 2025 complaints were simple – they don’t score and barely make a chance. Clearly, this was not the case here.
Although their first half is not always dominant, Arsenal was unusually fruitful and assembled in front of the goal. They cut through the PSV defense when they really started such as Odegaard, Nwaner, Trossard and Rice made a light work on their way to the host box.
It was a masterpiece to start the second half because Arsenal showed a ruthless string in front of a goal that has left them so often this season. Exactly Artea wanted to see it and it was a kind of performance that would undoubtedly maintain their hopes for the Slim Premier League title.
Merino cannot be denied not being able to impress in his recent trips to Strker. The things were not perfect here, but it was a natural eye for a goal exposed to Eindhoven.
PSV’s terrible defense gave it to Merina on the plate, but the makeshift forward still had to be awake on the occasion and undoubtedly took advantage of his goal with the type of precise Arsenal fans who had not always seen from Kai Havertz.
There will be questions whether Merino is still the right answer for Arsenal during their crisis of injury, but if they can surround his attacker with players in this confident form, it is hardly even important who leads the line.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is almost shown its third red card of the calendar year here. Since it was reserved early, he broke into another challenge in the middle of half that PSV could not believe had not given another yellow card.
Maybe she felt a slice of happiness, Mikel Arthte decided to pull Lewis-Skelly shortly after the half-hour mark, with Arsenal 3-0 and effectively killing the game at such an early stage.
The excellent left back was sent against Wolves, but he gave the judge an unnecessary decision to make, before he was properly fired against West Ham United at the end of last month, and soon there will be questions about what becomes a worrying trend.
It is worth remembering that Lewis-Skelly is not a natural left back. The education of the young man came as a central midfielder and he was only received in defense to help in emergencies. This lack of experience in full -time begins to show.
