Now you can go behind the sofa.

After seven defeats of eight over Odo and T20 Format, England Torrid Tour of India, Brendon McCullum, first in charge of setting a white ball, came to an end.

The misery is over – at least another week.

McCullum’s background will replace India for Pakistan, with a little magic in the UAE in between, while they want to turn to their wealth in the ICC champion trophy, they live in full Sky Sports.

If we win in this competition – their first game is against Australia on Saturday 2nd February 2nd – then Schemozz in India will largely surrender in dust history.

But does England have a chance to abolish a trophy on March 9?

Here we look at some of the little things of light to appear and exactly where things go wrong, on and off the field.

What is he doing for England?

Opening partnership

When Kevin Pietersen did not disembark with his words (more about it), Ben Duckett forged the successful opening of a partnership with Phil Salta in a one -day international series against India.

In all three matches, the duo shared for half a century – 75 out of 53 balls in Nagpur, 81 of 66 in Cuttack, and then 60 of 38 in Ahmedabad, when Duckett interfered with a painful groin.

The frustration is that neither salt nor Duckett sought to make contributions to changing matches, and their partnerships cut off with a combination of ripening and crossed overflows and England who then failed. Salt may also need the new partner of the best order in the champion trophy with Duckett’s injury to the real cause of concern.

Adil Rashid

England has been going through the range of emotions and results since 2015, winning the World Cup, and also performing in them, but the 36-year-old Spinner Rashid, was constant and shows no signs of slowdown, taking seven Wickekets for three India in the Economic Stop below 6.50, with the best of 4-64 in the finals.

Rashid’s exit to Ahmedabad prevented India even more close, or maybe more than 400, while rejected by Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill before the Hardik Pandya Buckled with a beauty that went back before turning back. If England succeeds in the champion trophy, you feel that Rashid will have to be in order.

What isn’t he doing?

Striking

While Salt and Duckett gave an Englishman in the ODO, there was little more to cheer up in terms of hitting. The tourists were thrown six times out of eight during five T20s three, and in the other two, they ended up nine down two, because the weaknesses regularly came to the fore, a problem dating in years.

England lost 29 Wicksketing from that bowling style in the T20 and 12 series to ODIS, with its best individual result, 69 Joe Root Made in Cuttack. Sixty -nine is good for Golfer – and England has them in all accounts – but not so effectively in the crislet match. They just have to get bigger in the champion trophy.

Bowling

England picked up wound Wickkette in two of three Odo – two inside six accessories in the series opener, then Rohit Sharma to make Mark Wood the first ball in the finals – but it’s hard to overcome what most breaks came when India was in search of is later inserted, whether to win or set a total.

There were too much indebted and predictable bowling from the all over the attack of the same tempo-series of fast to fast rules. The lack of variation may have been a problem with England overlooking the left hand options and the subtlety of Curran and Reece Topley in favor of those who restrain the ball a little faster.

Side perception

As the defeats accumulated, so is the criticism.

Pietersen took Umbege in Duckett’s comments that he didn’t care if his team lost 3-0 in India, provided he won the champion trophy, while tourists scored because of an apparent lack of work in nets, suggesting that they prefer to play golf to repair Spin defects.

The idea that England is not bothered by a victory or lost is safely excluded, while there are reasons for mitigating the team in training – Extensive travel program, mounting injuries and wanting the players to be fresh in front of the champion trophy.

However, perception can often be viewed as reality and English fans are understandably relaxed not only on the results, but also the words and actions around the match.

The relaxed environment is all good and good when you win, because the test team of England has largely worked under McCullum, but this can be viewed as a weakness when you are not.

McCullum’s style has not yet turned the side that has fluttered in the white ball in the last few years, with four defeats from the Odor series in Row after the complete Horlicks, which were their 50th World Cup defense in 2023.

What does that mean for the champion trophy?

Maybe a lot, maybe a little.

England may not be able to eliminate their combat fights ahead of the tournament, but they should be less exposed in Pakistan, and the terrain is prone to favoring the sailors over slow bowlers, and their Gung-Ho-in-Hike hitting is perhaps more likely to go down.

We hope that McCullum men will have a full quota of players who could choose with Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse – two men who could solve the problem that had picked up Wikets in the middle, lacked the last two go -a -cut hand and insolent toe.

In addition, their first opponents in the Champions trophy are the Australian compound of the Linchpins seams Pat Cummins (hip), Josh Hazlewood (ankle) and Mitchell Starc (personal reasons).

Win that game and things will start to look a little lipstick.
