Apologies Allahbadi: Ranveer issued a public apology, admitting that his comment was inappropriate and not funny.
“Comedy is not my forte and I regret my judgment,” Said Allahbadia in a video on social networks. Recognizing his influence on young viewers, he added: “Podcast is watched by people of all ages. I have to better use this platform.”

Legal consequences: The complaints were filed against Ranveer by Allahbadi, comedian Samay Rain, Apoor’s Mukhi and others involved in ‘India’s Got Latent’. The National Commission for Women (NCW) invited those who were involved, and police Assam had registered the case against them for promoting obsceneness.
