Video records a quarrel in the courtroom while two men attack suspected of murder during hearing
Two men were arrested after the video shows chaos in the courtroom in Novi Mexico after breaking into the gallery and started a quarrel with suspected murder.
The altercation happened on Friday morning at a hearing of the Albuquerque District Court when Uncle Carlos Lucero, rushed to the suspected Alexander Ortiz, with another man, identified as Pete Ysasi while standing in front of the judge, Krqe reported.
The video shows Lucero entering the gallery and hits Ortiz, before Ysasi joins.
Other family members and officers were also seen in a hurry to try and a diffuse quarrel, which only escalated from there.
The repair officer also hit when he tried to break the fight, shows the video.
Sheriff of the Bernalillo County Office Said Krqe, who, while detained by Lucero, told MPs that he had gone for Ortiz because he “killed my niece like a coward” and “worth at any moment.”
Both are now confronted with charges of attack as well as a battery on a peace officer.
The District Court said Krqe to emphasize the importance of security in the courtroom.

“This is just another incident we continue to deal with. These are the kinds of things we see regularly,” said Katina Watson, Executive Director, another judicial district court.
Watson also praised the officer for his fast actions in response to a quarrel.
“I really want to acknowledge the MDC official who was caught in the middle of this and did everything he could to ensure everyone’s safety,” Watson added.

Ortiz is charged with killing ex -girlfriend Alianne Farfan in Albuquerque residential complex January 11, 2024.
Detectives had previously told Krqe that the two had abuse and that Ortiz was upset by Farfan on the day of the shooting. Police said Ortiz was in her bedroom on the night of shooting and that witnesses heard the shooting and then saw him running out the window.

Ortiz was also considered suspected of other deadly shooting days after Farfan’s murder, according to the Albuquerque Police Directorate.
