Venus Williams gave Indian wells wild cards for 2025. BNP Paribas Open in March | Tennis news

Former World No 1 Venus Williams received a wild map for this year’s Wells Indian Tournament.
Wild Card allows 44-year-old Americans to compete for the tenth time at the WTA 1000 event, and the event lasted from March 5 to 16.
The sevenfold Grand Slam champion boycotted the tournament for 15 years after the fans underwent their younger sister Serena and family to racist abuse during the last victory of 2001 over Kim Clijsters.
Venus, whose withdrawal from the semifinals against her sister due to the injury of that year, encouraged Heckles and Jeers from Gomilo, she returned to the 2016 tournament.
She reached the semi -finals three times, recently in 2018, and played at last year’s event as a Wild Card.
On the male side, 18-year-old Brazilian Joao Fonsec, who won his first ATP title at the Argentina Open on Sunday, received a wild ticket, along with a 19-year-old American student Tien.
Last month, Tien became the youngest man to arrive at the Australian Open Fourth Circle from Rafa Nadal in 2005.
